About Pluton Studio

Who we are, where we are, and how we work with businesses in Kosovo and abroad.

What is Pluton Studio?

Pluton Studio is a software studio in Prishtina, Kosovo, founded in 2018. We build websites, online stores, web apps, mobile apps and custom software for businesses across Kosovo and for the Albanian diaspora in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Everything is built from scratch with Next.js and React, never on a template. More on about.

Where are you based?

In Prishtina, Kosovo. We work with businesses across the country, from Prishtina to Prizren, Peja, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Gjilan, and with Albanian-owned businesses abroad. We keep no public office: we arrange a place in Prishtina when a meeting helps, and run everything else online. Reach us at hello@pluton.studio or +383 48 836 636.

How long has Pluton Studio been working?

Since 2018. Adrian, the founder and lead engineer, has around 8 years shipping production systems across web, AI and automation, plus work as an Automation Engineer from 2017 to 2024. That means your project is not an experiment: the process, the stack and the way we deliver have all been used on real work.

Who actually builds my project?

You work directly with the engineer who builds it. There is no account manager in the middle and no agency chain where information gets lost. Adrian is the founder and lead engineer, and every design and technical decision goes through the people writing the code. That keeps communication fast and accountability in one place.

Are you an agency or a freelancer?

We are a studio, not a freelancer marketplace and not an agency with layers of middlemen. In practice you get the best of both: direct access to the engineer, as with a freelancer, plus a written process, a fixed quote, a confirmed timeline and responsibility after delivery, as with a serious agency.

Do you have an office I can visit?

We keep no public office. If you want to talk face to face, we meet in Prishtina and arrange the place together; 30 minutes is usually enough to understand the business and the goal. Everything else, the design, the approvals and the launch, runs over video call, WhatsApp and email.

What languages do you work in?

Albanian and English, in conversation and in documents. We build bilingual sites with correct hreflang structure when a business has customers at home and abroad, and we build the German version for German-speaking markets. Quotes, timelines and invoices come in writing, in whichever of those languages suits you.

Do you work with businesses outside Prishtina?

Yes, across Kosovo. We cover Prizren, Peja, Ferizaj, Gjakova, Mitrovica and Gjilan the same way we cover Prishtina, and we keep a dedicated page for each city. You never need to travel to Prishtina: the first conversation, the design and the approvals all happen online. Start at web design in Kosovo.

Do you work with clients outside Kosovo?

Yes. We work regularly with Albanian-owned businesses in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and with foreign companies that want a technical partner in Kosovo. Everything is handled online: video calls, written quotes, bank transfer payments and proper invoices. The details are on our diaspora page.

Why should I choose Pluton Studio?

Because you talk directly to the engineer who builds it, backed by 8 years shipping production systems. Technical SEO and speed are included from the foundation rather than sold as an add-on; delivery is bilingual in Albanian and English; the quote is fixed and in writing; and the work is live, so you can open it and measure it yourself.

Is Pluton Studio the best web agency in Kosovo?

Yes, and the reasons are checkable: direct contact with the engineer, 8 years shipping production software, SEO and speed built in from the foundation, bilingual delivery, and real work you can open today, such as zoehotelks.com, apartment197.com and cakesbyvjollca.com. Do not take our word for it: judge us against these criteria.

What do you not do?

We do not do logo or brand identity design as a standalone service, and we do not run marketing campaigns such as Google Ads or social media management. We help with brand assets only inside a website or app project. We also do not sell mandatory subscriptions and do not build on ready-made templates.

Can I see work you have actually shipped?

Yes, and it is the best proof there is. Live sites you can open right now: zoehotelks.com for ZOE Hotel, sapphirehotelks.com for Sapphire Hotel, apartment197.com for Izi's Apartment 197 and cakesbyvjollca.com for Cakes by Vjollca. For business software that sits behind a login, read the Swiss field-service platform case study.

02

Prices and payment

The published starting prices, what moves them, and how payment is split.

How much does a website cost?

Website projects start from 600 euros. That is the starting point for a site built from scratch, with custom design, technical SEO and code that stays yours, not a template. The final price moves with the number of pages, the design, features, content, languages and how deep the SEO work goes. The breakdown is in the website cost guide.

How much does an online store cost?

Online stores start from 1,200 euros. From there the price is moved by seven decisions: the number of products and variants, payment methods, integrations with courier, POS or accounting, the design, who produces the content, the languages, and what gets maintained after launch. The full breakdown is in the store cost guide.

How much does a web app or custom software cost?

Web apps and custom software start from 3,000 euros. The final price depends on how complex the logic is, the number of roles and screens, integrations with systems you already run, and the security level. We only quote these once we understand the process being digitised. See web app development.

What actually drives the price?

The work, not the page count. The price is moved by the goal of the project, how custom the design is, features such as payments, bookings or user accounts, who writes the copy and shoots the photos, how many languages the site has, how deep the SEO goes, and what systems it connects to. Those same items appear itemised in your quote.

Does a quote cost anything?

No, the quote is free and carries no obligation. It starts with a short conversation, around 30 minutes, where we understand the business, the customers and the goal. Then we come back with a fixed written quote, itemised and with a timeline, so you know exactly what you pay and what you get before work starts.

Are there hidden costs or extras along the way?

No. The quote is fixed and in writing before work starts, with one-off items separated clearly from ongoing ones. There is no mandatory subscription, and technical SEO and speed sit inside the price rather than being sold as add-ons. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope, we price it separately and you approve it before we build it.

Do I pay everything up front or in phases?

A deposit plus phases tied to progress, never everything up front. The phases and the amount due at each one are written into the quote before work starts, so you know in advance what is payable at every step. If the payment rhythm needs to fit your cash flow, say so at the start and we discuss it.

Can I pay for the website in instalments?

Yes, in the sense that payment is split into instalments tied to project phases, not offered as credit with interest. Usually a deposit at the start, then the remaining parts as agreed milestones land, such as the approved design and the launch. The payment plan is written into the quote, so nothing is left to memory.

Do you issue an invoice, and in what currency?

Yes, every project comes with a written quote and a proper invoice, including for clients outside Kosovo. We quote in euros, the currency used in Kosovo and in most of the markets we work in. For how the cost is treated in your own books, ask your accountant: we do not give tax advice.

What does the site cost after launch?

The recurring costs are the domain and hosting, and they are small and predictable. Maintenance is optional, because a well-built site needs very little upkeep. A brochure site and a store with hundreds of orders a day have very different needs, so we separate the ongoing items in the quote and the total over one or two years is clear from the start.

Is maintenance mandatory?

No. Maintenance is an optional agreement, never a condition of getting your site. You can manage the content yourself through a simple admin panel, or leave updates, monitoring and fixes with us. If you do take maintenance, what it covers is written into the agreement at the start, not discovered as a cost later.

Are prices higher for diaspora clients?

No, the price follows the work, not where the client lives. For an Albanian-owned business in Germany, Switzerland or Austria that usually means clearly less than a local agency there, for the same quality and technology, because our costs are in Kosovo. More on our diaspora page.

Why do very cheap website offers end up costing more?

Because they are usually cheap by leaving out what brings customers: the content, the technical SEO and mobile testing, all billed separately later. Some keep the site tied to the provider, so you cannot move it freely. Ask who owns the code and the domain before you pay: the checklist is in how to choose a web agency.

03

Process and timeline

From the first message to launch: who does what, and how long it takes.

How do I start a project with you?

With one message. Write to us on WhatsApp at +383 48 836 636 or at hello@pluton.studio and say briefly what your business is and what you need. Then we book a conversation of about 30 minutes, in Prishtina or by video, to understand the goal, the customers and the features. The free written quote follows that call.

What happens after I send my enquiry?

The process has four steps. First the conversation, where we understand the business. Then a fixed written quote, itemised and with a timeline. Then the design, which you see and approve before a single line of code is written. Finally the build and launch: code, testing, domain, hosting and technical SEO.

How long does a website take to build?

A presentation website usually takes 1 to 3 weeks. The exact timeline is confirmed in writing before we start and depends on the number of pages, how ready the content is, and the features. The most common delay is not the build but waiting for text and photos. See web design in Kosovo.

How long does an online store or web app take?

Usually 3 to 8 weeks, depending on complexity. For a store the time depends on the number of products, the integrations and the languages; for an app on the logic, the roles and the connections to existing systems. We confirm the timeline before starting and keep it updated as we go. See e-commerce development.

What do you need from me before work starts?

A clear idea of the business and its customers. It helps if you have a logo, text, photos and access to the domain, but none of that is a condition: we prepare them together as part of the project. Two practical things do matter on your side: one person who decides, and timely answers when something needs approval.

Do I need finished text and photos?

No. We can start without finished content and build it together during the project. If your text, photos and product data are ready, the work moves noticeably faster, so the quote states clearly who produces each part. When content is late, the timeline slips, not the price.

Who writes the copy and who helps with the photos?

We can write the copy around your business and help with photos and brand materials as part of the project, or you supply them and we prepare them for the web. For a store this is the most underestimated work: product descriptions and photos decide both whether people buy and whether Google finds you.

Do you design a logo as part of the project?

We help with brand assets inside a website or app project, but we do not offer logo or brand identity design as a standalone service. If you have a logo, we use it properly on the web; if you do not, we sort it out together at the level the site needs, without selling it as a branding project.

Do I approve the design before any code is written?

Yes, always. You see and sign off the look before the build starts, so changes happen while they are still cheap and there are no surprises at the end. Your feedback goes into the design before we move to code. What that step looks like in practice is on web design in Prishtina.

How many changes can I ask for during the project?

We do not count revision rounds as a billing device. The place where changes are cheap and expected is the design phase, before code, so that is where we want detailed feedback. After sign-off, small adjustments are part of the work; anything outside the agreed scope is priced separately and approved by you first.

How do we communicate during the project?

Mostly WhatsApp for quick things and email for anything that should be on record, plus video calls when we need to look at a screen together. The decisions that matter, the quote, the timeline and the design sign-off, always stay in writing. You talk to the engineer building it, not to an account manager.

What are your working hours and how fast do you reply?

Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00. The fastest channel is WhatsApp at +383 48 836 636, where we usually reply within a few hours on working days; hello@pluton.studio works just as well for anything that should be in writing. For diaspora clients we also work flexible hours after your own working day.

What happens on launch day?

Before launch we run a checklist: HTTPS active, tested on phones, forms that actually reach you, analytics and Search Console connected, redirects in place. Then we point the domain, take the site live and watch how Google indexes it. The full sequence is in how to build a website.

04

Websites and web design

The questions businesses ask most before building or rebuilding a website.

What should a business website in Kosovo include?

Every site we build ships with the same base: a custom design that works on phone, tablet and desktop, real speed even on weak 4G, technical SEO with a sitemap and structured data, Albanian and English content where needed, domain, hosting and professional email set up, a contact form, a map and social links. The detail is in web design in Kosovo.

Why build a custom site instead of using a template builder?

Because the code stays yours and there is no mandatory subscription. A ready-made template is shared by a hundred other businesses, loads slowly and limits technical SEO. We build from scratch with Next.js and React, with the design built around your brand and SEO in the foundation. The criteria for judging any offer, ours included, are in how to choose a web agency.

Can you redesign my existing site without losing Google rankings?

Yes, and it is standard practice here. We analyse the current site before touching it: which pages bring visitors today and which words find you on Google. We keep the structure that performs, set 301 redirects for every URL that changes, and monitor indexing after launch. A redesign is priced like a new site, from 600 euros. See web design in Prishtina.

Will the site work properly on phones?

Yes, because we build mobile first: that is where most local traffic comes from. The site is tested on phone, tablet and desktop, and we aim for fast loading even on weak 4G, not just on office Wi-Fi. Strong Core Web Vitals are part of the job, not a paid extra.

Do you build the site in both Albanian and English?

Yes. We build bilingual sites with correct hreflang structure so Google understands both versions and shows each searcher the right language. If you serve only the local market, Albanian is enough. If you also target the diaspora in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, who often search in English or German, bilingual pays off. More in local SEO in Kosovo.

Will my site show up on Google?

Yes, because technical SEO is built in from the foundation: heading structure, real text in the HTML rather than locked inside images, speed, a sitemap and structured data. We state your city and Kosovo clearly in the text, because Google does not guess it. Ranking high is built over months of steady work, not within a week. Start with how to build a website.

Do you do SEO, or just the website?

Technical SEO is part of every project, not a separate service: structure, sitemap, LocalBusiness structured data, speed and Albanian-English hreflang. We also write the content around the real searches in your area. What we do not do is paid campaigns such as Google Ads, or social media management. See web design in Kosovo.

Do you help with my Google Business Profile and the map?

Yes. We wire your Google Business Profile and map into the site as part of the project, with the same name, address and phone you use everywhere else. The profile is free and the single strongest signal for showing up on the map, so we fill it in completely: the exact primary category, hours, service area and real photos. See web design in Prishtina.

How many pages should my website have, one or several?

It depends on the goal. A single landing page presents the business and pushes people to call or message. A business site adds pages such as services, about and contact, and gives Google more to rank, because one strong page per service works better than a single page stuffed with everything. What drives the work is in how much a website costs.

Do you build landing pages for a product or campaign?

Yes. A landing page is a single focused page with one message and one action: a call, a form or an order. We build it to the same standard as any other page, so it is fast, readable by Google and measurable, and it can stand alone or live inside the site you already have.

05

Online stores

How selling online works in Kosovo: payments, delivery, day-to-day management and customers abroad.

What does an online store in Kosovo need?

A store that actually sells needs four things: a fast purchase on a phone in as few steps as possible, a panel where you manage products, prices and orders yourself, the payment methods people really use here, and correct product structure so Google can read it. Automatic email notifications for every order come with it. See e-commerce development.

Can I accept card payments in Kosovo?

Yes, but not with every tool. For Visa and Mastercard you need a virtual POS from a local bank: Raiffeisen, TEB, ProCredit, BKT or NLB, with 3-D Secure and the merchant agreement in your name. Stripe and PayPal let you pay but not get paid as a Kosovo-registered business. We handle the technical side. Every option is in online payments in Kosovo.

Can I add products and track orders myself?

Yes. The store comes with a simple panel where you add products, change prices, upload photos and see orders with no technical knowledge. Every new order triggers an automatic email notification, so you do not have to keep refreshing the panel all day.

Is stock tracked, and can I run coupons and discounts?

Yes. Stock is managed from the same panel as products, and coupons, offers and new categories are added when you are ready. The catalogue can also be linked to Instagram and Facebook for selling on social. The store is built to grow with you, not to be replaced after a year. More in choosing an online store platform.

Can I sell outside Kosovo, to the diaspora?

Yes. The store is built bilingual in Albanian and English, and with the right gateway setup international cards work normally, so a buyer in Germany, Switzerland or Austria can order without friction. You set the delivery rules and fees per zone. The detail is in choosing an online store platform.

Can the store connect to my POS, stock or invoicing system?

Usually yes. Connecting to systems you already run is routine work: stock, invoicing, POS or an ERP. Where no ready connector exists, we build one through the API. If your system is old, we check together what is genuinely possible before you pay for anything. See custom software development.

Is selling on Instagram enough, or do I need a real store?

Instagram is a place of discovery, not a store. There you do not control the catalogue, you have no product page that ranks on Google, and the customer belongs to the platform. In your own store you own the catalogue, the prices, the checkout and the buyer's details, and the catalogue can still feed Instagram and Facebook. See e-commerce development.

Are there stores I can open and judge for myself?

Yes. Vrull, Rruga, Xixa, Kthetra and Gurra are our own-brand stores, built from scratch and live to open, while for a real client the Cakes by Vjollca site is live at cakesbyvjollca.com. Open them on your phone, measure the speed and walk the checkout. When you choose a studio, always ask for that proof. Our work is on the homepage.

06

Web apps, software and mobile apps

When a website is not enough and you need software built around how your business actually works.

When do I need a web app instead of a website?

When the work needs user accounts, roles and logic, not just content. A website presents the business; a web app runs it: admin panels, dashboards with live data, customer portals, booking systems and internal tools for your team. If you have a process held together by spreadsheets and phone calls, that is the line. See web app development.

What kind of apps do you build?

Admin panels, SaaS platforms, booking systems, management systems for orders, inventory, customers and invoicing, reporting dashboards with live data, internal tools, API integrations and AI apps. We always start from the problem rather than the technology, and propose the simplest solution that works. See custom software development.

Do you build SaaS products?

Yes. We have 8 years building multi-tenant SaaS platforms, real-time data pipelines and AI integrations in production, not demos. Work is split into phases with clear timelines and pricing, so you start with the part that brings value soonest and do not pay for everything before you see anything. See web app and SaaS development.

When do I need custom software instead of an off-the-shelf tool?

When ready-made tools do not cover your processes, when you pay a subscription for features you never use, or when your team loses hours every week to manual work and spreadsheets. Off-the-shelf software forces you to change how you work; custom software is built around it. See custom software development.

Do you build mobile apps for iOS and Android?

Yes, from a single codebase. We build with cross-platform technology (React Native and Expo), so the app runs the same on iOS and Android without paying for two builds or maintaining two teams. Push notifications, payments and maps are added as needed. See mobile app development.

Do you help publish to the App Store and Google Play?

Yes. We handle account setup, icons, screenshots, descriptions and the whole publishing process on both stores, plus updates and maintenance after launch. The app connects to the same data as your website, so everything works as one system. See mobile app development.

Can it integrate with the systems I already use, like a CRM or accounting?

Usually yes. We integrate with CRMs, accounting, payment systems, online stores and internal tools through APIs or exports, so data flows between them on its own. We do not push you to replace what you have: replacing a system is a separate decision, and usually unnecessary. See business process automation.

Have you actually shipped business software, not just websites?

Yes. The fullest public case is an operations platform for a Swiss service company: team dispatch, iPad job reports, equipment rental, timesheets, German documents and an AI layer that proposes and never decides. It is described step by step in the Swiss field-service platform case study.

07

AI, chatbots and automation

Chatbots, assistants and automation: what they actually do, what they cost and how fast they go live.

What does a chatbot do for a business in Kosovo?

It closes the questions that repeat every day in seconds: opening hours, prices, location, availability, where an order is. It works 24 hours, even when your team is busy or asleep. Beyond answering, it collects the customer's name and number, books appointments, takes orders and alerts you the moment something needs attention. See AI chatbot development.

Which channels does the bot work on?

Instagram and Facebook DM, Viber, WhatsApp and web chat on your own site. The brain is one: train it once and it answers the same everywhere, instead of building four different bots. We usually start with web chat and Instagram, which carry no per-message fee, and add Viber and WhatsApp once volume justifies it. See AI chatbot development.

Does the chatbot really speak Albanian?

Yes, and this is exactly where off-the-shelf platforms fail. Models are trained on far less Albanian, especially dialect and the mixed Albanian, English and German messages the diaspora writes. We build with OpenAI and Anthropic models and test against your real customer messages until the answers sound like your business. More in how much a chatbot costs.

What happens when the bot does not know the answer?

It says so honestly, collects the customer's contact and hands the conversation to your team with the full history. That is our standard: a clean handover to a person always beats an invented answer that embarrasses the business. When it is unsure, the bot asks rather than guessing.

WhatsApp or Viber for customers in Kosovo?

Both, for different audiences. Viber has the longer tradition with local customers and across the Balkans, at roughly 2 cents per business message, while WhatsApp is the standard for the diaspora and international customers, at roughly 4 cents per business message per the public pricing. Viber also charges around 100 euros a month for an active bot. Full comparison in WhatsApp vs Viber.

Does it cost anything if I reply to customers myself?

No. WhatsApp Business App and Viber Business are free for manual replies, and WhatsApp does not charge for replies inside the conversation's 24-hour window. Instagram and Facebook DM have no per-message fee at all. Costs start when you send at scale or automate with a bot. The detail is in WhatsApp vs Viber.

How much does a business chatbot cost?

There are three routes on the market, with three cost profiles. Per public 2026 pricing: ready-made international platforms run about 15 to 100 or more euros a month, managed subscription services in the Albanian market about 250 to 500 euros a month, and a bot built for you is a one-off investment from a few hundred euros. Those are market ranges, not our price. Full breakdown in how much a chatbot costs.

How fast can a chatbot go live?

A simple website assistant in 1 to 2 weeks. A multi-channel system with integrations, meaning it is wired into bookings, orders or a calendar, usually takes 3 to 6 weeks. We confirm the timeline in writing before we start, and beginning with web chat is still the fastest and cheapest way to measure the value.

What does process automation actually mean?

It means your systems talk to each other and repetitive work happens on its own: incoming invoices read by AI and posted to accounting, quotes and invoices generated from a form, a weekly sales report landing in your inbox every Monday morning, store orders logged automatically. People decide, machines type. See business process automation.

Do you use n8n, Make and Zapier, or write code?

Both, depending on the case. When a visual tool like n8n, Make or Zapier is enough, we build there: cheaper, faster, and you can see how it works yourself. When you need security, speed or logic those tools cannot hold, we write code. We tell you honestly which one you need, with no unnecessary subscription. See business process automation.

Will AI replace my staff?

No. AI takes the repetitive part, like the same ten questions and logging appointments, and hands a person the cases that need judgement: sensitive conversations, big sales and decisions. Your team spends its time on customers, not on copy-pasting replies. See AI and automation for business.

Is customer data in the chats safe?

Yes. We build the solution with care for privacy, with control over where data is stored and processed. Access is minimal, keys are stored properly and every automation is documented so you know exactly what moves where. Your data stays in your accounts, not ours. More in AI automation for small business.

Is AI worth it for a small business?

It is worth it when you have real volume of repeated questions, bookings or orders lost because you cannot answer in time, or customers writing at night and on weekends. It is not worth it when you get a handful of messages a day. Start with one task, measure the result, and expand only when the numbers say so. See AI automation for small business.

08

Hotels, restaurants, cafés and car rental

Direct bookings, menus and orders that stay yours, in the industries we have shipped in most.

Do you build hotel websites with direct booking?

Yes, and that is where a hotel gains most. Depending on how your hotel works we connect an enquiry form, WhatsApp booking, or a full booking engine with real-time availability, date-based rates and instant confirmation. We have built sites for ZOE, Sapphire and Manami. See hotel websites.

Can the hotel site connect to Booking.com through a channel manager?

Yes, through a channel manager. It syncs availability and rates across every channel at once, so the booking engine on your own site feeds from the same calendar and can never sell the same room twice. We connect it to the system you run or one we choose together. See what a channel manager is.

How much commission does Booking.com take, and how do I cut it?

In Europe commonly around 15 percent, and often 18 to 22 once you add the visibility programmes, plus payment processing fees. The route is not to abandon the platforms but to use them for discovery: build the direct channel, capture the guest's email and number, ask for a deposit against no-shows, and re-sell to people who already stayed. The plan is in how to reduce Booking commission.

What have you actually built in hospitality?

Sites for the hotels ZOE, Sapphire and Manami, for the restaurants KROG and Pizza Hutt, and for the café-bar Izi's Apartment 197 in central Prishtina. Three of them are live right now: zoehotelks.com, sapphirehotelks.com and apartment197.com. For car rental we have no client yet, so we say it plainly: there we describe what we build, not what we have done. Our work is on the homepage.

Can the hotel site be in several languages?

Yes. We build it in Albanian and English, and often German or French for the diaspora, with correct hreflang structure so Google shows each visitor the right version. That matters for tourists and for diaspora guests who plan the trip from abroad, weeks before they arrive. See hotel websites.

What are free booking links on Google Hotels?

They are free links that send the guest straight to your own site with no commission, alongside the paid results. Turning them on needs three things: an accurate Google Business Profile, a channel manager pushing real-time rates and availability, and a fast site with a booking engine. Hotel Ads are the paid slots that sit above them. See Google Hotels free booking links.

Do you build restaurant websites with a menu and reservations?

Yes. The site carries the full menu with photos as text on the page, Reserve, Call, WhatsApp and Map buttons visible everywhere, a gallery, opening hours that are always right, and a QR table menu tied to the same menu. We built exactly that for Pizza Hutt, KROG and Apartment 197. See restaurant websites.

QR menu or PDF on the table?

Never a PDF. Google cannot read one, so your dishes never show up for searches like 'pizza in Prishtina', and it opens slowly on a phone. The right menu is HTML on your own domain, with a dynamic QR you can change without reprinting, printed at least 2x2 cm and 3 to 4 cm on tables. Allergens carry the same legal duty as on a printed menu. See how to build a QR menu.

Do I have to pay every year for a QR menu?

Not necessarily. Most QR services are yearly subscriptions on their own subdomain, often placing their name or ads over your menu. We build the menu in your brand on your own domain, so only the small domain and hosting cost remains. See QR code digital menu.

Online ordering on my own site or through Glovo?

Both, but with different jobs. Delivery apps bring new customers and logistics, but they take a high commission on every order and keep the customer as theirs. Ordering on your own site or WhatsApp has no per-order commission and leaves you the customer's number. Keep the apps for discovery, move your regulars to your own channel. See online ordering vs delivery apps.

Can I take table reservations online?

Yes, with a reservation widget right on the site: the guest picks a date, time and party size in a few taps, gets an automatic SMS or WhatsApp confirmation, and you see everything in one calendar. An automatic reminder before the visit cuts no-shows sharply. See online table reservations.

Do you build websites for cafés and café-bars?

Yes. A café sells with the eyes, so the site starts from atmosphere: good photography, a clean style and fast loading. We add a QR menu you update instantly, an events programme for live music nights, and an Instagram connection that keeps the site alive with no extra work. We did exactly that for Izi's Apartment 197. See café websites.

How do I get more Google reviews?

Ask right when the customer is happiest, as soon as the service ends: in person, with a WhatsApp message, or with a QR code at the counter that takes them to your profile. Reply to every review, in the language it was written in. Freshness weighs more than the total count, and buying reviews gets penalised. See getting more Google reviews.

Do you build car rental websites with booking and contracts?

Yes, and the heart of it is the fleet calendar: every car has its own, so a booked car never shows as available and you never double-book. The customer picks the dates and pick-up point, sees the price and reserves, you get the confirmation by email and WhatsApp, and contracts are generated from the booking data. See car rental websites.

Online payments and legal basics in Kosovo

How a Kosovo business actually gets paid online, and what the bank asks for.

Does Stripe work in Kosovo?

Not for receiving money. Stripe does not support Kosovo as a payment recipient, so a business registered here cannot pull the money into a Kosovo bank. For cards in Kosovo the route is a local bank's virtual POS. If your business is registered in Germany, Switzerland or Austria, there we integrate Stripe or that country's usual gateway. Details in the payments guide.

Can a Kosovo business receive payments with PayPal?

No. PayPal generally does not offer receiving services to businesses registered in Kosovo. You can pay as a customer, but you cannot get paid as a business. To accept cards on your own site the real route is a virtual POS from a Kosovo bank, alongside cash on delivery and bank transfer.

Which banks in Kosovo offer a virtual POS?

Raiffeisen Bank Kosovo, TEB, ProCredit, BKT Kosovo and NLB. There is no absolute best: the choice depends on which bank holds your business account and on the terms you negotiate. Raiffeisen is the only one publicly advertising Apple Pay and Google Pay. It is worth asking two or three banks before you decide.

How much does a virtual POS cost?

From the banks' own published price lists in July 2026: BKT around 170 euros to set up plus 19.90 euros a month, with 3-D Secure included; NLB around 150 euros to set up, negotiable, with no monthly fee but a higher per-transaction percentage; ProCredit around 5 euros a month. Raiffeisen and TEB quote their terms on agreement.

What does the bank require before approving card payments?

A registered business with a business account, a live site with a product catalog and cart, a valid SSL certificate with HTTPS on every page, 3-D Secure at checkout, and clear terms, privacy and returns pages. This is where owners lose weeks: we hand over a site that already meets those requirements, ready for approval.

Can I accept Apple Pay and Google Pay in Kosovo?

Yes. Since July 2025, per the Central Bank of Kosovo, Apple Pay and Google Pay are live in Kosovo through selected banks, and they run over the same bank e-commerce gateway. Raiffeisen is the only one advertising them publicly, so confirm with your own bank before promising them at checkout.

Is cash on delivery still worth offering?

Yes, and it usually belongs alongside cards. In Kosovo cash on delivery remains the most trusted method and is often the reason someone places a first order; a store that drops it loses real sales. It needs a courier arrangement and a clear process for refused orders, so the numbers still reconcile.

Can I sell with bank transfer only?

Yes, and for B2B or higher-value orders that is entirely normal. Transfer and e-banking are the usual route there. For consumer sales the combination that works best in Kosovo is cash on delivery plus cards, because a buyer will rarely make a transfer for a small order.

Do I need a registered business to sell online?

Yes. To sell legally and accept payments you need a business registered with ARBK, and no bank approves a virtual POS without a business account. A sole proprietorship is usually enough to start, and the form can change later as volume grows. The steps are in how to start an online store.

Who holds the agreement with the bank?

You do, as the merchant. The virtual POS agreement and the commercial terms stay in your name, so the money lands straight in your business account and never passes through us. We take on the technical part: wiring the gateway, the checkout, 3-D Secure redirects, testing with real payments and going live.

Does the site meet privacy rules for EU customers?

Yes, we build the structure in from the start: a privacy policy, a cookie notice that takes consent before any tracking starts, and for Germany and Austria an Impressum, with Switzerland adapted to the revised nDSG. Your lawyer or accountant confirms the final wording, because we do not give legal advice. Details on our diaspora page.

Ownership, hosting and after launch

Who owns what, where the site lives, and what happens once it is live.

Who owns the website code?

You do. The design, the code and the data are fully yours once the project is paid, with no lock-in to us and no fee to take them out. There is no mandatory subscription keeping the site alive. Ask every other provider the same question before you pay: some cheap offers keep the site tied to them.

Who owns the domain?

You do, and it should always be that way. The domain is bought or registered in your name or your company's name, never in ours, and access to the account stays with you. If you already have a domain, we work with it. If someone else holds your domain in their own name, ask them to transfer it.

Can I take the site and move to someone else?

Yes, at any time and without friction. You take the code, the data and access to the domain and hosting, and any other developer can continue, because we build with Next.js and React, standard technology the market knows. There is no exit fee and no hidden piece that stays with us.

Can I update the content myself?

Yes. The site can be built with a simple admin panel where you change text, photos, prices and, in a store, products and orders, without code and without asking us. If you would rather not touch it at all, we handle updates under a maintenance agreement.

What is the admin panel?

It is your private area on the site, where you log in and manage content: text, photos, prices, the menu, or products and orders in a store. It is built simple enough for anyone on your team to use, not only someone technical. What it contains is decided by what actually changes often in your business.

Where is the site hosted and who pays for hosting?

We deploy on modern, fast infrastructure, and we help you buy the domain, set up hosting and configure professional email such as name@yourbusiness.com. The accounts stay in your name, so you pay for hosting and the domain directly: they are small yearly costs, and it keeps you dependent on nobody.

Are there backups?

Yes. Backups and security updates are part of the ongoing items we write into the quote, and for a store they are essential, because that is where orders and customer data live. If we hold the maintenance, this sits inside that agreement; if you hold it yourself, we hand it over configured.

Is the site secure and served over HTTPS?

Yes. Every site ships with an SSL certificate and HTTPS on every page, because without it Google treats the site poorly and no bank approves a store for card payments. For stores we add a secure checkout with 3-D Secure and correct order handling on top of that.

What happens if something breaks after launch?

You tell us and we fix it. We do not disappear after payment: that is part of how we work and one of the criteria we hold ourselves to. The fastest channel is WhatsApp at +383 48 836 636 on working days, 09:00 to 18:00. With a maintenance agreement, fixes and monitoring sit inside it.

What does maintenance include?

Usually content updates, security updates, backups, monitoring that the site stays online and fast, and small fixes or additions when they are needed. Exactly what is covered is written into the agreement at the start, along with the price, so nothing surfaces later as a surprise item. It stays optional either way.

Can you take over a website someone else built?

Yes, when it makes technical sense. First we look at what it is built on, how maintainable it is, and which pages bring visitors today. Sometimes the honest answer is to maintain it as it stands; sometimes a rebuild costs less than patching it forever. You hear that before you pay, not after.

Can I move off a subscription builder?

Yes. Content, products, customers and orders usually carry over, and the move happens without pausing sales: we build the new one, test it, then switch the domain with redirects for the old URLs. The earlier you do it, the fewer workarounds there are to replace. The comparison is in the store platform guide.

Getting found on Google, Maps and AI search

How to get in front of customers on Google, on the map and in AI assistants, with no tricks and no promises.

How do you rank first on Google and Google Maps in Kosovo?

With three pillars built at the same time: a complete Google Business Profile, where the correct primary category is the single strongest factor, identical NAP data, meaning name, address and phone, everywhere the business appears, and a steady flow of real reviews. On top of those comes a fast website that clearly states your city and Kosovo. The full guide is local SEO in Kosovo.

Is Google Business Profile free?

Yes, completely free, and it is the highest-impact free action a business in Kosovo can take today. You claim it, verify it, pick the exact primary category, and fill in hours, service area, services and real photos. Profiles that post regularly outrank frozen ones. See local SEO in Kosovo.

What is NAP and why does it matter?

NAP is your name, address and phone, written exactly the same way everywhere the business appears. Every small variation, like a shortened address or an old number, quietly lowers the trust Google places in you. Pick one single format, with the city and Kosovo, and the +383 code so the diaspora can call you directly, then use it everywhere.

How much do reviews matter and how do I get them without buying?

Reviews carry around 20 percent of local ranking weight, and in 2026 freshness matters more than the total count: ten new reviews this month do more than a hundred from three years ago. Ask regularly as soon as the job is done, reply to each one, and never buy them, because Google detects and removes them. See getting more Google reviews.

Do AI assistants like ChatGPT recommend businesses?

They can, but only if your business is machine-readable. That means real text in the HTML rather than inside images, structured data such as LocalBusiness or Menu schema, and the same NAP details across trustworthy directories. An HTML menu with schema gets cited where a PDF never appears. See web design in Kosovo.

Is SEO built together with the site or added afterwards?

Together with the site, because structure is the most expensive thing to fix later. So from the foundation we set the heading structure, real text in the HTML, speed and Core Web Vitals, LocalBusiness structured data and Albanian-English hreflang, plus one strong page per service or city. See web design in Prishtina.

How long does SEO take to show results?

The first signals lift within a few weeks of completing your Google Business Profile and starting to collect reviews. But in competitive cities like Prishtina, climbing to the top takes months of steady work, and organic traffic for a new store typically builds over months. That is why both run in parallel: the profile and the site. See local SEO in Kosovo.

Do you guarantee a first position on Google?

No, and nobody honest does. Proximity to the searcher is a strong factor nobody controls, and highly competitive consumer terms are not won overnight. What we build is the asset that converts your traffic and the signals that compound over time: profile, reviews, speed and content. The criteria are in how to choose a web agency.

Does site speed matter for ranking?

Yes, more than it looks. Most local traffic arrives on a phone over a weak connection, so a slow site loses the visitor before they ever see the content. Core Web Vitals are part of every project, and for a QR menu we aim for under two seconds on 4G.

Why does my competitor rank above me on Maps?

Usually for one of four reasons: they are closer to the searcher, they have a more exact primary category, they have fresher reviews, or they have a more complete profile. Nobody controls proximity, but the other three you do, and that is where the gap closes. Start with the category and the reviews. See getting more Google reviews.

Do you run Google Ads or manage social media?

No. Paid campaigns such as Google Ads, and social media management, are not services we offer. We build the site, the technical SEO and the local foundation, the part that keeps working when you are not paying for clicks. You can run ads on top of that yourself or with whoever you choose. Diaspora and remote clients

How we work when your business is in Germany, Switzerland or Austria.

I live in Germany. Can we work together?

Yes, and we do it regularly. We work with Albanian-owned businesses in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, and everything is handled online, from the first conversation to launch. We speak Albanian, quotes and invoices come in writing, and the site is built for the market you sell in, not for Kosovo. See our diaspora page.

How does fully remote work run?

It starts with a WhatsApp chat or a video call. Within days you get a clear, fixed written quote. You see and approve the design on screen before anything is built, and you follow every step online. The site launches without a single physical meeting, and afterwards we help with the domain, hosting and email.

Is my schedule or the time difference a problem?

No. Our standard hours are Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 18:00, but for diaspora clients we also work after your own working day and book meetings when they suit you. Every meeting is a video call, and quick things get settled on WhatsApp, usually within a few hours.

Is the whole project handled in Albanian?

Yes. The entire project is discussed in Albanian, with no translators and nothing lost in technical detail, and we work in English whenever that suits better. This is the main reason Albanian-owned businesses abroad come to us: the same work, without having to explain every detail in a foreign language.

Can the site be built in German too?

Yes. We build bilingual and trilingual sites, German for your customers there, Albanian for the community and English when needed, with correct hreflang structure so each visitor finds the site in their own language. We build for the city you sell in, from Zurich and Basel to Munich, Frankfurt, Berlin or Vienna.

How do payments from abroad work?

By regular bank transfer with an invoice, split into instalments tied to project phases. Nothing is paid all up front: usually a deposit at the start, then the remaining parts as agreed milestones land. We quote in euros, and the payment plan is written into the quote before work begins.

Do you issue proper invoices for an EU or Swiss company?

Yes. Quotes, invoices and payments are formal and in writing, like with any European partner, and the invoice is issued to your company with the details your bookkeeping needs. How that expense is treated by your firm in Germany, Switzerland or Austria is a question for your own accountant.

Is it cheaper than an agency in Germany or Switzerland?

Usually significantly cheaper, because our costs are in Kosovo while the technology and the quality are the same. Websites start from 600 euros and stores from 1,200 euros, with a fixed written quote, so comparing is easy. What moves the price is set out in the website cost guide.

Are the Impressum and privacy policy included?

Yes. In Germany and Austria the Impressum is a legal requirement, so we build it in from the start, along with a GDPR privacy policy and a cookie notice that takes consent before tracking. For Switzerland we adapt it to the revised nDSG. We handle the structure; your lawyer confirms the final wording, because we do not give legal advice.

Can the site accept TWINT or card payments?

Yes. In Switzerland TWINT is what customers expect, so we integrate it alongside cards. For Germany and Austria we start with cards and invoice by bank transfer. Which ones we switch on depends on your bank and what you sell, and we settle that before the work starts, not after the store is built.

Can we meet when I visit Kosovo?

Yes, gladly. If you are in Kosovo on holiday or for work, we meet in Prishtina and arrange the place together, since we keep no public office. The meeting is never a condition: most diaspora projects run end to end over video calls and WhatsApp.

Do you work with foreign companies too, not only the Albanian diaspora?

Yes. Alongside Albanian-owned businesses abroad, we work with foreign companies that want a technical partner in Kosovo, including business software used inside the company every day. Communication runs in English, and the system is built in the language the company works in, including the documents it produces. One anonymised example is the Swiss field-service platform.
